Will Someone Teach me to Throw an Axe?

Of Course!  There will be a short overview of the rules and a brief introduction to axe throwing before anyone throws.

Are reservations required or do you accept walk-ins?

Reservations are recommended especially Friday and Saturday, but if you show up and there is an open target we won't turn you away.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 7-day cancellation in order to refund your deposit or payment.

Do you offer military discounts?

We at Maniaxe Throwing appreciate our military and first responders (active duty, reserve, retired). We offer a 15% discount on throwing fees to these heroes with proof of service (does not apply to league fees or retail sales).

Are you serious about closed-toe shoes?

Closed-toe shoes are required at all times in the building! You must provide your own and arrive wearing them.

Can I bring a print out of my Waiver?

All Waivers must be signed online via the link on this site. A photo I.D. is required at check-in. No exceptions!

Can I bring my own drinks?

No outside food or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) are allowed in building. We currently have non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. When our alcohol license is approved, we will offer beer and wine.

Can I throw my own axe?

League members can use their own axes on league night only. Those axes must comply with the rules of the World Axe Throwing League.

What are your age requirements?

All throwers 18 years of age and older will be required to show a valid, photo I.D. when checking in. No I.D., no entrance, no exceptions.

All throwers under 18 years of age are required to have a parent/legal guardian sign a Minor Waiver online and be in attendance with said thrower at all times. No parent/legal guardian, no entrance, no exceptions.

All throwers 8 years old and younger must use the child approved targets and axes during specific hours only. Family Throw will be posted in "Events" section of website.

Is tipping allowed?

Not only is tipping allowed, it is encouraged. If your Coach was attentive, helped you have fun, or you just liked him/her, tip away! Tipping can be done by cash or card when you close out your check.
